The new Classic Sonic functions just like an genesis Sonic game. You collect rings to stay alive. That is a super cool concept. Oh, and if you get hit, you lose all of your rings, and when they are gone, they are gone.
Oh, and one more thing: If you collect 50+ rings in an fight as the revamped Classic Sonic, you get to turn as S U P E R C L A S S I C S O N I C! The Super Music is from Sonic: Before The Sequel.
Oh, and another upgrade to Classic Sonic: He can spawn item boxes!
Press L *Or A if you are using an arcade controller* to spawn different item boxes! Here is the list:
